The RP-120 is a close-coupled end-suction pump for clean and lightly-laden water duties. This guide sets out the scheduled maintenance, the seal and bearing procedures and the spare parts that keep it running reliably.
Warning
Isolate and lock off before workElectrically isolate and lock off the motor, then close and drain the suction and discharge before opening the pump. Rotating machinery and residual pressure both injure.

Mechanical seal replacement
- Isolate, lock off and drain the pump; relieve any suction head.
- Remove the coupling guard and back pull-out assembly.
- Withdraw the impeller and the rotating seal face from the shaft.
- Press the new stationary seat into the seal housing squarely.
- Fit the new rotating face, refit the impeller and set the shaft float.
- Re-align the coupling to within 0.1 mm before refitting the guard.
