Professional product documentation without the design work.
Give product, engineering and marketing teams a structured way to create accurate, standardized, on-brand product documentation, without InDesign, manual page formatting or a PIM implementation.
No signup or credit card. Start with a real document first.
You edit the product content. DataSheets Pro handles structure, pagination and the finished page.
Built for teams that ship physical and technical products
- No signup to try
- 19 compliance and regulatory documents

The document library
66 document types. 50 of them mapped to the standard that governs them.
Not just data sheets. The declarations, certificates and quality records your customers and auditors ask for, each one structured to the clauses it has to satisfy.
- Structured to:
- EN IEC 63000
- REACH
- OSHA HCS 1910.1200
- AS9102 Rev C
- ISO 9001
- IPC-1752A
- AIAG PPAP
- JESD46
Start from a popular template
The compliance declarations teams build most.
Each opens as a real, structured document, with a guide to what it has to contain. Not sure a template is the answer? Start with how to choose the tool.

Powerful underneath. Simple for the people doing the work.
Structured enough that anyone can create a professional document.
Layout, pagination and typography are already handled.
Governed enough that Marketing keeps the brand.
Brand kits carry the permitted elements; every document stays inside the standard.
Technical enough for real specifications.
Dense rows, footnotes, part numbers and tables, without silent reformatting.
Switching
What happens to the documents you already have.
You do not rebuild your library before you get value. You migrate the products that are still selling or still changing, and leave the rest where they are.
Bring the data across
Upload XLSX or CSV and map your fields once. Leading zeros, part numbers and units survive exactly as they were.
Rebuild in a governed template
Pick the document type. Structure, pagination, typography and your brand kit are applied for you. There is no page layout work to redo.
Keep the legacy file as the record
Link the original PDF and note which revision it came from, so technical review keeps a defensible path back to what was published.
Structured editor
Change the content, not the page layout.
Blocks and sections are organized on the left while the real page renders on the right. Add content, arrange it, and watch the document handle the layout.
- Clear, clickable fields and text
- Drag-and-drop with explicit menu alternatives
- Consistent page sizes and margins, with automatic continuation
Technical data
Paste from a spreadsheet and keep the values intact.
Ordering and specification tables behave like a real spreadsheet: clean rows and preserved formatting. Leading zeros stay intact and part numbers don’t get mangled.
- Upload from Excel or CSV and map structured fields
- Download the official structured XLSX template
- Paste or import data of any type without losing exact values

Questions
Do I need design software?
No. You enter structured content and choose a template. DataSheets Pro handles spacing, typography and page flow.
Does the exported text stay searchable?
Yes. PDF exports use real text rather than flattening the page into an image, so content stays searchable and selectable.
What happens when content no longer fits?
The document continues onto a new page. Tables split cleanly across pages, header rows repeat, and nothing gets cut in half.
I have hundreds of sheets in InDesign. Do I have to redo them all?
No, and starting there is the wrong move. Migrate the products that are actively selling or actively changing, and retire the rest. A legacy library usually contains a large share of documents that should have been withdrawn years ago.
How long until the first finished document?
The same afternoon. Open the builder, fill in one product, export the PDF. There is no data model to design and no implementation project standing between you and the first usable output.
Can I import product data from a spreadsheet?
Yes. Upload XLSX or CSV and map one record into an editable draft, or use the official XLSX template for automatic mapping. Creating multiple drafts from one file is on Pro and above.
Do links and QR codes work in the exported PDF?
Web addresses remain clickable. Pro and above can also place one printable, scannable QR code in a template-safe corner.
Can I try the real editor first?
Yes. Open the builder in the same editor experience and edit a sample product, no account required. To export the PDF, create a free account (no credit card) and your document carries over.
