Halstead HF-720 Clamp-On Flow Meter

Clamp-on ultrasonic flow meter · ±1% · no pipe cutting

Part numbers
HF-720-STD, HF-720-HT, HF-720-EX
Category
Flow measurement
Model
HF-720

The HF-720 clamps onto the outside of any metal or plastic pipe from DN15 to DN600 and measures flow ultrasonically, with no cutting, no downtime and no wetted parts to corrode or clog. A guided wizard has it reading within minutes, and 4–20 mA, pulse and Modbus outputs drop straight into existing control systems.

Why customers choose it
◎
No pipe cutting
Clamp-on transducers install on a live pipe, with no shutdown, no welding and no wetted parts.
±
±1% of reading
Transit-time measurement with automatic zero and live signal-quality feedback.
⟳
Any pipe, DN15–600
The guided wizard sets the sound path from the pipe material and wall thickness.
⚡
Drop-in outputs
4–20 mA, pulse and Modbus RTU feed existing PLC, SCADA and totaliser systems.
Where it's used

District heating & cooling: Energy metering on large mains without breaking into the pipe.

Water & wastewater: Abstraction, distribution and effluent flow on lined or buried pipe.

HVAC & chilled water: Balancing and BTU metering on building services.

Utility & sub-metering: Temporary or permanent metering where an inline meter isn't practical.
