Saving and reusing your own templates
Turn any document into a reusable starting point in My Templates: save, use, rename and delete.
Once you've built a document exactly how you like it, save it as a template so your next one starts the same way: same sections, blocks, look, page setup and brand kit. Saving your own templates is included on the Pro plan and above.
Saving a document as a template
- Open the document in the editor.
- Click Save as template in the top bar.
- Name the template and click Save template.
It appears in My Templates (in the sidebar) and at the top of the New document picker under Your templates.
Using a saved template
From My Templates, click Use template on any card, or pick it from the Your templates section of the New document picker. DataSheets Pro creates a fresh document with your saved structure, as a draft, and opens it in the editor.
Renaming and deleting
- Rename: click Rename on the template card, edit the name, and save.
- Delete: click the trash icon and confirm. Documents you already created from the template are not affected.
