Feature limits and locked features
How limits (active documents, storage, brand kits) and locked features work, and how DataSheets Pro tells you.
Your plan sets both limits (how much of something you can have) and features (whether a capability is on). DataSheets Pro shows both clearly rather than failing silently.
Usage limits
| Limit | Free | Starter | Pro | Team |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Active documents | 3 | 100 | 500 | 2,000 |
| Brand kits | 0 | 1 | 5 | 20 |
| Seats (users) | 1 | 1 | 1 | 5 |
Your Dashboard shows meters for active documents, storage and brand kits so you can see where you stand. When you hit a limit, DataSheets Pro explains it and links to upgrade. For example, at the document limit you'll be prompted to remove a document (to Trash) or upgrade.
Locked features
When a feature isn't on your plan, its control shows a small lock and the plan it needs. For example, the QR control shows a "Pro" lock, and the Preferences and Team pages show an upgrade panel. Clicking through takes you to Billing to see plans.
