My PDF doesn't match the preview
The preview and the export use the same engine, so a mismatch usually has a simple cause. Here's what to check.
The live preview and the PDF are produced by the same page-building engine, so they should match exactly. When they don't, it's usually one of these:
- You exported before an edit finished saving. Wait for the top bar to show "All changes saved," then export again.
- An image was still loading in the preview when you exported. Give images a moment to appear, then re-export.
- A hidden block. Hidden blocks don't appear in the preview or the export, so check whether a block you expected is hidden (the eye icon).
- You're comparing to an old file. Re-export to get the current version.
