Adding a QR code

Place a scannable QR code on your document that links to a URL, available on Pro and above.

A QR code lets a reader scan straight to a web page: a product page, a manual, a warranty form. QR codes are included on the Pro plan and above.

Adding one

The QR control lives in the Document Footer panel in Step 2:

  1. Turn on Show QR code on the document.
  2. Enter the destination URL (a domain without "https://" becomes https:// automatically), or click Use this document's share link.
  3. Optionally add a label or caption.
  4. Set the printed size and the page placement: All pages, Final page, or First page.

The QR code is placed to the right, just above the footer, on the pages you chose, with space reserved so your content never overlaps it.

Pointing the QR code at the document itself

Click Use this document's share link to fill in the document's own share link, or use Add to document in the Share panel in Step 3, which also lets you download the code as a PNG or SVG. The link never changes when you update the document, so a printed code always opens the latest published version, and scans are counted separately from clicks in the Share panel. Remember to Publish link in Step 3; until you do, scanning the code shows a "page not found" message.
