Adding images and galleries
Upload product images, set size and alignment, add captions, and use galleries, diagrams and before/after pairs.
DataSheets Pro has several image blocks. The most common is Product image: a single framed image. There are also Image gallery (a grid of images), Technical diagram, Chart / figure, Illustrated steps, Before / after, and Logo.
Uploading an image
- Add an image block (or use the image on the Product overview block).
- Click Upload image and choose a file.
- DataSheets Pro optimizes it in your browser before storing it, and shows how much it saved.
Photos accept PNG, JPEG and WebP; logos additionally accept SVG. Use Replace image to swap it, or Remove to clear it.
Sizing and framing a product image
The Product image block lets you set:
- Alt text: a description for accessibility.
- Caption: a line beneath the image.
- Width: a percentage of the column (10–100%).
- Alignment: Left, Center or Right.
- Framed: a subtle border around the image.
Galleries and comparisons
- Image gallery: several images in a grid of two, three or four columns.
- Before / after: two images side by side to compare.
- Illustrated steps: numbered steps, each with its own image and caption.
