Setting up and applying a brand kit
A brand kit stores your logo, colors, fonts and company details so every document comes out on-brand.
A brand kit is a saved set of brand details (logo, colors, fonts and company information) that DataSheets Pro applies to your documents so they come out consistent and on-brand. Saved brand kits are included on the Starter plan and above (Free uses a neutral default).
What a brand kit stores
- Company name and a text wordmark (used when there's no logo image).
- Logo image (PNG, JPEG, WebP or SVG, up to 2 MB).
- Colors: primary, accent and text.
- Fonts: heading and body (sans-serif, serif or monospace) and a base text size.
- Details: website, email, footer text and a legal/disclaimer line.
Creating and editing a brand kit
- Open Brand kits from the sidebar.
- Type a name in the box at the top and click + Create brand kit, and the kit opens for editing. (To edit an existing kit later, click its card.)
- Fill in the company name, wordmark, colors, fonts and details, then click Save brand kit.
- In the Company logo panel beside the form, click Upload logo and choose your image (PNG, JPEG, WebP or SVG, up to 2 MB). The logo uploads straight away; use Remove logo to take it off again.
Applying a brand kit to a document
In the editor's Step 1, choose the kit under Applied brand kit (or No brand kit (default) for the neutral default). The preview updates at once, and where you leave header/footer fields blank, the document fills them from the kit.
Overriding just one document
You can adjust colors, fonts and the base text size for a single document in Step 1 without changing the shared kit. Those edits are stored on that document only, so your other documents are unaffected. A Reset to brand kit button clears the overrides.
